*Not a home recording. Recorded in studio by mt.

All instruments by Greg Samothrakis except:

Kurt Martin - electric bass guitar (1)

Mark Turrigiano - additional percussion (1)

Al Kavadlo - drums (3)

All songs written by Greg Samothrakis except:

"The Lamb (Agnus Dei)", which is an interpolation of J.S. Bach's "Agnus Dei" from the Mass in B Minor.

Though this song cycle was recorded with the formidable aid of Mark's engineering skills and a full-scale recording studio, I consider it the first entry in the Museum because it was the first time I broke from the limitations of a live band setup and intended the complete work to be a studio creation. I performed most of the instrumentation myself as well (with some expert help), thus setting the formula for the next 12 years (and counting) of recording.

"The Old Greek Minstrel (and the Thirty Some-Odd Men)" sets the scene, or one of many scenes, and introduces the characters we will see transported into different times of crisis across naval history. This cycle was meant to serve as (most of) Part One in a three-act structure. It remains unfinished.
