There is a sort of lexicon that develops over the course of the oeuvre represented here at the Museum; often certain words in titles will signify a set of parameters/rules/limitations particular to that project, and should thus be used as a sort of road map. Here in its purest form, "Recapitulations" will suggest that the project is collage, that no sounds native to myself were created for the recording, that it is a "remix" of found and existing audio. About half of this material has been culled from the band whose identity is not at all obscured on the album cover; track #2 is a true remix of one of their most iconic and recognizable songs (albeit with the title group re-imagined as a somewhat sinister alien vocal combo).
