SIDES B features a broadly drawn clown on its cover (which was created years later in 2018), and its music is clowny and bold, and mostly driven by keyboards. After lots of experimental art pop and burbling synth rave-ups we also get the first two "instrumental beats" tracks I had ever created, each with their requisite sampled song for the chorus ("Wales" uses John Cale's "A Child's Christmas in Wales" for its main sample, "I.I.L.W.A.G." uses Big Star's "I'm in Love With a Girl").
