More collages, as you'll no doubt have guessed by the word "recapitulation" in the title. Bravo! You'll find your way out of this Museum yet.

This brief and perplexing EP has some fun experiments, and a newfound appreciation of slowing down and re-pitching vocal samples. The first track, "Countdown to Riot in a Pinch", consists of an editing together of "Countdown" by John Coltrane and "Riot" by the 2nd Miles Davis Quintet, on a bed created by a loop from Can's "Pinch". Though the years don't line up, I liked the idea of sticking Coltrane back into Miles' group. Glad the boys from Köln were there to help them groove.
